Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival Makassar – Toraja (Lunch & Dinner)
Upon arrival at Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, meeting services. Afterwards we will take you out on the picturesque drive to Toraja with approx 8-9 hours driving along the Buginese villages with their typical houses. We will stop for a photo-taking during the trip. Lunch will be served in a seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare. In the afternoon stop on the Puncak Lakawan to enjoy the spectacular view. Arrive in Rantepao in late afternoon. Dinner & overnight at Hotel.
Day 2: Toraja: Lemo, Nongnongan, Londa, Karuaya, Kete Kesu (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After breakfast in your hotel, a full day exploring Tana Toraja. First you will visit Lemo to see rows of Tau Tau statues and the hanging graves. Later continue to discover the secrets of baby trees in Nongnongan. Onwards to Londa with its ancient tombs in which the deceased was not buried, but placed among the rocks. Lunch break in a local restaurant in Rantepao. Onwards to Kete Kesu with a stop in Karuaya to enjoy the beautiful and typical Toraja panorama, From here we will continue with a short walk to Kete Kesu, one of the oldest Toraja villages. Here you still find two rows of the original village houses, the traditional ancestral houses of the Toraja people, Tongkonan, as well as traditional rice barns with colorful woodcarvings. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Toraja : Batu Tumonga, Soft Trekking, Weaving Center (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After breakfast in your hotel, we will bring you to visit Timonbayo where we can enjoy the spectacular view of the megalith stones spread over the extensive rice fields. Then to a burial cave of Lokomata. From Lokomata, we continue our trip to Batutumonga where we will a have short trekking, enjoy the beautiful panorama and experience a moment of the unique Torajan life style. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Batutumonga. In the afternoon, we will visit Bori (the meghalith) then to Pallawa & Sa’dan Tubaranna, local Torajan villages known as the weaving center of Rantepao. Then back to the hotel for dinner & overnight
Day 4: Toraja – Makassar – Airport (Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast, we drive back to Makassar. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant in Pare-Pare. Afterwards transfer directly to Hasanuddin Airport to catch the flight for your next destination.

Hotels in Sulawesi are far from international standard as well as its service. Especially simple accommodation out of city- Regency, on some accommodation client can stay in Local people house with mattress in the floor and sharing bathroom with own house – squat toilet. Some Accommodation didn’t have Wi-Fi and Air Conditioned. Size of Bed of Every Hotel is Different (Mostly they only have Queen Size Bed) Mostly all is Hotel is old, Not renovation, very really simple accommodation, with simple breakfast
